Chance for Change Programme

The MYBE Chance For Change programme is for participants who are aged between 16 years and 24 years and are not in education, employment or training (known as NEET).

The programme will increase a participant’s confidence, develop their motivation, unpick their obstacles to employment, education or training and help them to make a significant impact on positive movement towards the labour market and/or learning.

Engagements with and between participants on the Chance for Change course will promote synergy, mutual support and an atmosphere of aspirations to achieve.

This impact programme is based on a multiple learning activities pathway for improved confidence and employability skills demonstrating movement from NEET to productive citizenship. Participants will engage in a range of activities that interest them but that will also lead to the demonstration of a range of employability skills and attributes known to be valued by employers.

The programme includes beginners creative industries taster activities in:

  • Sound and music technology.

  • Sculpting.

  • Photography.

As well as:

On completion of the programme, participants will take away their portfolio, a product and a plan for further progression.
